The Order of the Azure Rose

I have been meeting with some old friends about the plans for a reunion of any and all who have participated in the Grand Valley/Ravenshire Renaissance & Pirate faire for its 28 years of events here in Mesa County. The event is open to all past vendors, merchants, guilds and entertainers who have made those years fun and memorable. This is an in-garb event, but mundane tents are permitted.We will also be offering a celebration of the lives of those who have passed on from this life who were a part of the old faire.

Those who attend are welcome to perform, sing, dance, drum and practice combat and other period skills, if they wish.Anyone who has items to sell are welcome to informally vend, if they wish, as long as they keep track of sales tax themselves. Overnight camping is allowed, just clean your camp before you leave. Bring whatever you would normally bring on a family campout-food, water, swimsuits and towels, and favorite beverage. Porta Potties will be available, and recycling is encouraged. There will be a potluck BBQ at around 5:00pm; bring whatever you want for the grill and a side dish to share. A Facebook event has been created for those who may wish to attend, and you can let toni know what kind of side dish you want to bring, so we don't have 20 cakes and no salads,haha.
